From Ellen

On occasion, when I have visited a cemetery, it has been natural for me to assume people of all ages, but mostly older, have been buried there. Here, at this cemetery, the average age of these soldiers is around 20 years of age. As far as the eye can see, men from every state in the union stared in the face of utter evil, and won... Posthumously. It is difficult to put into words the awe I feel in the presence of a noble and innocent courage that ultimately gave the world back freedom from a tyranny that had never spread so quickly over vast territories.
